The Western Network of Communication Access Providers (WNCAP) is an association to promote the continuing education, support and camaraderie of individuals involved with providing communication access services to students and others. The WNCAP network includes service providers, supervisors and school administrators.
The classroom communication access systems embraced by WNCAP include, but are not necessarily limited to, CART, TypeWell, C-Print and ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition systems).
The WNCAP net covers Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Oregon, Saskatchewan, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Yukon.
